You need to cull a bunch of those peaches otherwise you'll have a bunch of small peaches that aren't as sweet as they should be. The peaches should be 4"-6" apart, that way they will get all the nutrients they need from the soil. I learned the hard way. The first couple of years I just let them grow everywhere and I got many, many peaches from the tree but they were all small and not nearly as sweet as they should be. In the past two years I've culled probably 75-100 from my tree while they were still very small, that way the remaining peaches soak up the needed nutrients from the soil and get big, juicy and sweet. Also, the more crowded they get on the branches the heavier the branches get and the greater the risk of branches breaking.
Sage advice. I will begin the culling/thinning process today.
