NX studio question

My son recently upgraded my computer to Nikon NX Studio since the old NX program couldn’t download D800 files. I don’t have internet access, so I can’t use the online help. The old NX program had a “conversion” tool that let me reduce the file size to something more manageable. I haven’t found any such tool on Studio. Have I just overlooked it? Thanks!

From the File menu select Export -- the dialog that opens contains an option to alter the image size and if you're saving a JPEG there's a quality slider that will allow you to set the compression level and so the saved file size.

I’m curious, if you don’t have internet access how are you able to get into UHH?

Through the phone my kids gave me. I only had dial up access which became absolutely useless. Been trying to link up the phone and computer but no luck yet. Fortunately me son is a computer programmer hoping he can get the link made.

Newer smart phones allow tethering or to be a Wi-Fi hot spot (I've used this feature in some hotels that don't have free Wi-Fi in the past). Depending on your phone company's data plan, this may be expensive if you exceed the monthly data usage.
