Pretty much any word where you pronounce the double "E" sound will work. Even the "I" in kimchi sounds like "E". Unless you are actually trying not to smile, you can't help it when saying words that rhyme with cheese.

Certain words are better as they give one's mouth a more natural smile instead of a teethy grin.

Years ago, I was asked to photograph a world renowned doctor. I was just thrilled for this assignment. We had assembled minutes before the shoot. I walked over to the doctor to strike up a conversation. He wasn’t very talkative. I was trying to see if the doctor “had a good side.”Even a few quips didn’t raise a smile from him. At last moment i remembered I had in my camera bag a ‘Camera Critter.’ I often attach it when I photograph people who don’t like being stared at with one eye. I quickly excused myself and went off to the side. I reached into my bag and mounted it on the lens. When I turned around, the doctor asked, “Is that supposed to make me smile?” When I shook my head, he said, “it’s doing a good job!”

Sometimes “CHEEEESE!” doesnt always work.

But cheese doesn't sound like "E" at the end, it sounds like "Z".....
Unless one holds the cheeeeeee......
Totally different mouth muscle form for each.
At least they are when I say them.

While photographing Indonesians once, I thought I ask them to say their word for "cheese", "keju" (kayjoo), didn't work too well...
