This is from a couple years ago and I’m yearning for them again. Best in download.
Beautiful...I can see why you are yearning to see them again!
Jack... you took a beautiful photo of a beautiful butterfly and beautiful flowers... I overused the word beautiful purposely to emphasize that words are meaningful and should be varied, chosen to describe. This is especially true in titles, they set the mind's mood of the viewer.
Your title "another butterfly" sounds so ho-hum The word "another" is a flat word saying, yep just another butterfly. Your photo and the butterfly are certainly not ho-hum. How about a title like "Glorious-Butterfly."
You were lucky to capture this butterfly, in general they are skittish and fly away. You did well with the diagonal composition, the exposure on the flowers is a tad bright, but the main subject correctly exposed that counts most. The EXIF did not say what camera. The photo has a bit of noise... that would disappear with one of the many new AI deNoise plugins. This is a framable photo that you can display with pride.
Keep up the butterfly photography, this photo shows you are masterful... butterfly captures takes a lot of patience.

Thanks for the kind words. I don’t use words like beautiful or glorious because I don’t like “bragging” about my own photography. I always say I “got lucky” when I get a real nice shot or two. Occasionally (but they are scarce) I get very nice comments like yours. Makes me feel good. Thanks again. If you get a chance check one of my past postings for three shots of a hummingbird in flight. I “got lucky” there too. 😄😄. I just had a canvas of each done for a wall grouping. Edit: the camera for the butterfly was the D7500 with the Nikkor 105 macro.
