Thank you for noting this my friend. I have been deliberately working with the same background layer (this one donated by Curmudgeon) using hue, saturation, and brightness layer adjustments in attempts to bring subject and background into some sort of harmony. I have also stretched, inverted, and otherwise fussed with this background to try and achieve some sort of consistency with direction of light between subject and BG. This has been a good exercise for me. It has helped me understand how independent subject and background can be in the digital darkroom. If you have a good mask for your subject, you can slide almost any background behind it. It is then just a matter of aesthetics and personal preference...which as we all know has never been a matter of controversy. I always appreciate your thoughts.
