I very recently bought the Canon 70-200 f4L USM from a fellow UHH’er. Extremely satisfied with the sale and the lens, excellent condition. In fact, I like it so much I want to upgrade to the IS model (Yea, I know) So….I am selling the one I just bought for what I paid, $359, and looking to buy either the f4 or f2.8, depending on price of course. Thank you for looking. Mainly landscape, so really don't need the f2.8.

You're going to miss this lens. What body to you shoot? Should you instead be thinking about an IBIS-enable mirrorless, not the added weight and size of an IS-enabled version lens that won't differ in the image quality?

Thanks for your input, Paul.

1. Yes, I'll miss it, but since I plan on upgrading, that is a moot point.
2. 70D
3. Researched mirrorless and since I am comfortable with a crop sensor, the R7 looks good to me. However, I'm not ready to pull the trigger on mirrorless, but when I do, all I've read is that the adaptors work really well.

My point: and then you'll be missing this lens. Consider getting the tripod mount for this lens and keep a gem in the line up.

Last year, I sold my 5d4 and 7d2 and bought a R5. My lenses were and still are all EF. One is the lens you have, the non-IS 70-200 f4. I use it along with a handful of other EF mount lenses on the R5. Some have IS, some don't. It's never been an issue. I'm totally comfortable shooting anything with a recommended shutter speed of 1/350 or faster. If careful, I've gone much lower. I think you're okay with what you've got until you "need" to upgrade to RF lenses.

HMM?? If you mainly want a 70-200 lens for landscapes then why not just put the lens you already have on a tripod?

Yes, thanks, that's a given. But probably that accounts for 60-70% of shots of what I would use that lens for. Appreciate the feedback.
