Our neighbors trees are turning and providing some great backlit bokeh for bird pics. A lot of the yellowish color is actually from huge Poison Ivy leaves. This is just a sample of the variety of birds that we are lucky enough to have visit our back yard every day.
Carolina Chickadee
Male Cardinal
Male House Finch
Blue Jay
Female Cardinal
C'mon ... you know I'm not a bird ... right?
Female Red-Bellied Woodpecker
No idea .... anybody know what this little guy is?

Great series...love both the cardinals! Your right, the bokeh is quite nice when you can pick that up in the viewfinder and use it to your advantage. Good job!

Beautiful shots. That last one looks like an Eastern Phoebe to me. It could even be an Eastern Wood Peewee
Nice shots keep up the good work.

Hi "thefunxtr", that is simply an amazing series of shots. Loved every one of them (and was jealous because I've never done anything approaching that degree of perfection). If I could I'd have every one of them hanging on my walls.
Wonderful bird images. Your style and technique is plum great. Well done.
