Exterior diameter almost 2”
Screw closure.
I have no clue what it might be worth.
Anyone interested? Make me an offer?
(Or I can keep using it to hold stitch markers for my knitting.

Canada Post’s rates are
awful. Local to Montréal would be best.
Thank you for looking.

That is a case for a little X-sync adapter for Leica IIIC cameras. Part fit over the shutter speed dial and when it rotated it tripped a switch on a flash shoe which would trigger the flash via a PC cord.
Thank you. It’s good to know what it once contained, though I doubt that part is anywhere among my husband’s collection of bits and pieces of camera equipment.
I was sort of hoping someone on here might have the part and want the case.

If you sew you could use it for a pin container. 🤔

There are two parts, one of which slides over and clamps to the shutter speed dial and has a cam on it. The other part slides into the accessory shoe and has a spring loaded arm that is actuated by the cam on the shutter speed dial as it rotates during shutter actuation. This part also has the PC connector for the wire to the flash.
The parts in the kit that I had many years ago were unfinished aluminum.
