Working backwards I have determined why I could not loan an image here. It was all related to my ubdating Photoshop and Lightroom. The update eliminated my historic method of saving images I might was to share with others more for fun than anything else. I put those images on a seperate thumb drive.
When I went to do the the tabs I needed were nowhere to be found. So I fiddled around until the were on the thumb drive without my realizing the were not stored as smaller jpegs.
I found this out by reading Adobe helps files and followed the instructions to restore my previous methods. Now this again works fine again. I often wish these outfits would leave well enough alone and at least provide detailed info on what all is going to change in an update rather than some generic phrase like “bug fixes and performance improvement”.
Oh well, mission accomplished and my thanks to those here that made helpful suggestions.
