Amy Coney Barrett Searches Bible for God’s Opinion of the Internet (for the terminally obtuse ... she didn't really do it)

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Justice Amy Coney Barrett called for a recess in arguments before the Supreme Court so that she could search the Bible for God’s views on the Internet.

After several Justices expressed confusion about the technological issues before them, Barrett clapped her hands impatiently and said, “It doesn’t matter what we think about the Internet. What does God think about it?”

Barrett then withdrew to her chambers, where she had her clerks comb the Bible for the Almighty’s opinions on digital matters.

As of Wednesday, Barrett’s clerks had failed to find any mention of the Internet in the books of Genesis, Exodus, or Leviticus, but were said to be “holding out hope” for the Book of Numbers.

Unlike you, she knows God gave her a brain to make her own intelligent decisions.

But she is forfeiting her chance to make sound decisions by seeking answers in ancient religious publication. Truly, it that story is true, it is bizarre behavior for a Justice in the SCOTUS

You do realize that this is satire right?

Based on his long series of prior quotes from Fotoartist, I believe he is sincere. Fotoartist's long history of serious posts as an ardent Trump fan tells me this is NOT satire. Nope, Fotoartist posts what he firmly believes.

It was posted by Texcaster, and Fotoartist merely responded. Right?
And Texcaster even provided a hint for the "terminally obtuse."

Rac, that is unrelated to Fototartist's current and past posts. I don't believe he posts anything other than what he truly believes.

I addressed the Amy Barrett issue in another post in which I said, "If true, that is bizarre behavior for a Justice on SCOTUS". Personally, I don't want to believe it is true. While I disagree with religion seemingly infusing her opinions, I think she is an intelligent Justice (who is biased a bit by Christian Nationalism"

Well you did say "Truly, it (if?) that story is true, it is bizarre behavior for a Justice in the SCOTUS"

I believe I covered that when I posted, "If true, that is truly bizarre behavior of a Justice on SCOTUS. Givin recent behavior by Thomas and Alito, I would not be shocked to see a confirmation that some of the Justices have been bought by the religious right.

Public confidence of the trust in SCOTUS is very very low.

Not a biggie, I have made plenty of typo's...I don't judge you for it.

They didn’t search very hard. In Genesis 11, there is the story of the Tower of Babel; it was clearly the beta version of Google Translate.😊
