Me and my buddy were in the third picture in 1994. We paid no attention to the red flags on the beach. Looks fun, can't be that bad. We both almost drowned. We swam for our life, literally!

The undertow in Kauai is really strong. The beach is beautiful, but Mother Nature sometimes has another plan. ALWAYS pay attention to the caution signs.
