Super car! But the XKE is my pick followed VERY closely by the Ford GT.

Yes, Ford GT gets my vote - 1st version 8-)

What? No mention of the 64 Riviera? I had an XKE and the view over the steering wheel at the hood (bonnet) and front fenders (wings) was supposed to be sexual. Who am I to disagree?

Agree. My good high school friend had an absolute stunner like that with original blue metalflake and a 389 c.i. 4 speed stick. He and my brother and another kid went to school in it and when departing school an Edison pole setting truck ran over the hood of it. No injuries and the car was totaled. That was in 1976 and the car had 37,000 original miles. 🤣🤣🤣 The good news is he bought a cherry pie equally pristine '58 Vette convertible with removable hard top. Love the car and photo! Memories.

I understand what you're saying and you're entitled to your choice. Cars are like art. This GTO may bring to mind a car that you idolized when you were a kid. There could be hundreds of reasons why this is "the most beautiful car ever" to you. You may have had one...a friend may have had one...maybe you saw one at a car show etc., etc.. I had a '65 442, a '65 Skylark and a '65 LeMans so needless to say I really liked the body style. I was at a "Coffee and Cars" this Fall and a young kid showed up in '60 Falcon. An all original 4dr sedan with dog dish hubcaps and blackwalls. Untouched since his grandma bought it new. No one stopped to look at it. When I went over to look at it, he came running over as he was dying to talk about. it He was a nice kid (19) and he thought I was going to laugh at it. That was one of the cars that my uncle who sold cars at a local Ford dealer brought home (new) for me to drive. He enjoyed hearing my story and I, his. I was (way back) a car snob (and there are still plenty around) until it happened to me. Everyone has a story about a car or a particular that means a lot TO THEM!! By the way this ia a beauty.

Beautiful car indeed. The Jaguar XKE isn't too bad on the eyes either...

The Pontiac is nice, but I think an XKE is better. I never had one - my two English cars were Bugeye Sprite and MGB. My Datsun 260Z really looked good, as did my Lancia Beta Coupe, but I think my best-looking car was a 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7, which offered both great performance and real luxury!

I never had one, but really liked the way it looked. My first new car was a 1965 Chevelle 4-door 300 Deluxe. It was a real sleeper with a 327 3-speed. Quickest car off the line I ever had, including my 82 tran AM.

I was always partial to my 1968 AMC Javelin...

This was taken in 1970 after a 200 mile road rally (while it was my car, I was the navigator and my friend Steve drove). I used to enter a couple of rallys a year when I was in engineering school. BTW, we took second place.

This was after another rally where we drove Steve's car. We took 3rd place in what was only a 100 mile race.

Very nice. We had a 67 LeMans coupe, which was an almost identical body style to the GTO. I got my father to test drive the GTO, but he thought the exhaust noise was too "grumbly."

Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. As most enthusiasts would agree, "MINE" is the most .............car ever maid.

The GTO was bad ass, but the most beautiful car in the world? Not in this universe. As previously mentioned, the XKE is a strong contender, even Enzo Ferrari (Il Commendatore) said so.

Inasmuch as it’s putting in pictures time, here are three of the cars I’ve owned, each of which was special in some ways – the Lancia Beta Coupe, Datsun 260Z and the Mercury Cougar XR7 – one of the most beautiful cars ever made.
