Three photos taken from my living room window, combined with different blend modes: trees, soft clouds at sunrise, birds in flight (two layers: same pic flipped). Added a dash of Topaz painting.
Thanks for taking a look
Wake up ... time to go be early birds
Can you show us the individual images, especially the birds?
I like
This is an excellent two color photo. I did not see the pleasantly textured background at first glance.
Beautifully done, Linda. Especially, love the color palette and the brighter, reddish fringe on the wings.
Good to see you getting creative again Linda - and a very nice result too. I think the birds work very well, I wouldn’t have guessed there was a flip involved. Hope this is the start of a new phase of creativity for you.
Many thanks to all for your interest and encouragement!
Per request, here are the photos. I was a bit aggressive in deleting my card and files; however, I believe I have jpg versions on another card I can retrieve, if needed.
The birds shown here are already flipped horizontally and merged. One side was re-positioned a little so they're not perfectly symmetrical. The trees were bumped in saturation and/or vibrance in raw editor. All were shot at dawn in a 2- or 3-day period, with sunlight coming from lower right side.
Next effort I'll remember to keep the source material
Thanks again!
Really nice results. When I first saw this image it reminded me of your hops field shot you posted several years ago.
Well done Linda! I noticed what you did with the birds. The way you did it works very well. One of your nicer pieces!

Thanks for sharing those. Mind if I ask why you chose Hard Light for a Blending Option on the birds?
Very artful, Linda. Nice work.
Wow Linda what a great work. It should be printed large and hung. If you have any wall space left
beautiful colors and lighting and textured background, and you did it all in your living room...i think that's
pretty amazing, linda!
