A couple weeks ago I discussed various ways to back up files while in the field. As I said in that post, I could be over thinking the issue. I was. In addition to my camera equipment, I usually take along my Apple smartphone and tablet. At lunch time i use my Apple "Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader" to download the pictures onto my tablet and cellphone and then put a new SD card into my camera. Quick and easy way to back-up my files before putting them on my desktop at home. Just make sure your cellphone and tablet have sufficient storage space for the pictures. Both my phone and tablet accepted RAW files.
Seems a good way for travelling (carry a phone and tablet). Do you or how to deal with the SD card reader? You still need a separate one?

Yes, I use a separate card reader that works on both the tablet and phone. Made by Apple. Got mine at Walmart. Small and easy to carry in camera bag.
