Does anybody knows how installed a Brother Printer HL-1440 to a Computer Windows 10?
I have the installation CD and I did installed the software but that is all > my computer does reconized the
the printer nor it prints anything > I am told it can not be fesible for the printer to work in Windows 10 >
the printer works fine in an XP operating system > it is a 2004 model >
Does anybody has any knowledge regarding this dilema????

A quick Google search shows Brother may have a new printer driver for Windows 10. Have you checked with them?

Yes a Tech from Brother.com contacted me today, 02 10 2023, and he stated that printer can not be installed in Windows 10 computer > he was adamant.

When I couldn’t find a Windows 10 driver for my laser printer on the US website, I did a Google search and found a European one. It worked and I’m still using the printer. Fearing similar problems for that printer and other older items, I’m not upgrading to Windows 11.

Quick check online shows Brother Printer HL-1440 compatable with W10 BUT you MUST download W10 DRIVERS for it to work successfully.
Go to Brother or search Brother Printer HL-1440 for more help.

Sorry, I have the same printer, but I don't remember how I installed it. I'm currently using Windows 11, but I never had any problem with Windows 10. All I remember doing is installing the software, then opening settings and finding the printer and telling the computer to connect to it.
