These were all found on one day last week.
Cardinal
My only second photo of a Grey Catbird
Common Ground Dove. No longer so common.
Eagle on a nest. We were told she has three babies. A long ways out there. We didn't want to approach any closer and take a chance on disturbing her.
A pretty good sized Gator.
A smaller Gator pretending to be a pretzel. Not a baby but still with baby markings.
A soft shell turtle with a shortened nose.
It's been a while since we have seen one of these. We got two quick shots before he disappeared into deeper water. They usually aren't that shy.
I hope you like!
love catbird and stellar jay
really nice shots Keith. You didn't list the Jay, but I agree, it is a stellar shot.
I'm glad to see the close up of a catbird. Personally I think they are underappreciated. I think they are rather handsome.
The big gator gives me a bit of a shiver. When you think of it, they are really the only big land animals I can think of that would just as soon eat us alive (ok, maybe a cougar also). Places like Africa, India, and southeast Asia have learned how to coexist with their large wild animals. Us, not so much, and we have exterminated most of them.
keep on shootin' and postin'

A wonderful set Chief! Nice variety of subjects. Safe travels.

Thank you. I forgot to list the Jay. Not a Steller's Jay. It's a Florida Scrub Jay. The Steller's Jay is a much different bird.
