We recently returned from a trip of a lifetime to the Galapagos. Birds and wild life exhibit no fear of humans. I was able to capture all images with an 18-55 & a 55-200. We hiked and snorkeled for eight days.

Rufus and Gregory I appreciate your comments. I am still sorting through 100s of sea lions, penguins, sea turtles, iguanas & frigate-birds. Well worth going if you have an opportunity.
Fantastic set of shots. Wonderful detail

Great shots . Why didn't you bring a bigger lens. Like maybe 300mm or larger.

I appreciate the comments. Really didn't need a longer lens. I could get as close to the birds, reptiles or mammals as I wanted. We were limited as to what we could bring. Part of the travel was by Zodiac and motorized canoe. I am still editing and can see the barbules (the hairs of the feathers). I am looking at a gull with an orange part of its closed eyelids. May spoil me for photographing at home.
