Wilderness Images Loc: Apache Junction, AZ.

Following a beautiful weekend, the weather on Monday evening took a turn as a cold front began moving in. I was standing in my driveway around 6:00pm watching as the clouds danced around the Superstition Mountain Ridgeline. As the sun sets on the Mountain, it makes some drastic color changes from a drab brown to a flaming red, and in a minute, the show's over.

This evening, the clouds were trying to steal the show with a flame-like texture and I had to get the camera in action before the sun, which was behind me, dropped below the desert horizon. These photos were taken with my Canon EOS M6ll with a 24-105 EF lens at 105mm and 1/25 sec. hand held. I had to remove a couple of street lights and a road sign as the US60 is right behind the tree on the right.
Superstition Mountain always likes to show off.
