I agree completely. No matter what the real purpose of the balloon was it should have been shot down when it first entered American airspace. Maybe Biden and his crooked administration figured it was claiming asylum so let it just come across our border. Had there not been numerous outcries from the American people FJB most likely would have done absolutely nothing.

Perhaps the purpose of the balloon was for nothing except as a test vehicle to determine what America would do under those circumstances. Perhaps the next balloon or group of balloons to come across will be filled with poison gas, Covid or equally deadly germs or worse.

But now what is Biden going to do about it, just go on vacation to his basement and take a nap? Where are the strongly worded complaints to the United Nations, to China itself? What a pussy the Democrats have elected.
