As the title says we are getting ready for an upcoming trip and I am unable to carry my canon 5d and assorted lens around. So I am looking to purchase a good Sony rx 10 iv for the trip if anyone would like to sell one in good condition.
Thank you for looking.
Vern

Thank you for the attached eBay listings. I have a bit of time before our trip so I posted here as I trust the other posters on here a bit more than I trust random eBay users… if it gets a little later and I don’t get a response on here then I will be looking elsewhere.
Again thank you

As of now a deal is pending so unless I repost here consider that I no longer need the Sony rx10.
Thank you

Don't forget to purchase extra batteries, you may need them.

Congrats Vern. Hope you like it and from what I've seen and read about the camera I'm pretty sure you will.

You seem to know the camera pretty well. We will be going to Alaska this summer. I have heard this camera is a battery eater, will 4 batteries a day be enough? With the fast burst shooting with this camera I will be using burst a lot but no flash.

Get a Mophie Power Bank (battery pack) and a micro usb cord and you will have all the battery power you will need. I used one on a six week trip with my Sony RX 10 IV and never had an issue with power.

I have the RX10iv and rarely need the second battery on my vacations. I use to live in Alaska also. But it depends on how much you shoot. 4 batteries should cover your trip to the Great Land. I expect that you will be charging your batteries at the end of each day. I mostly shoot in "P" mode so you have control of shutter speed and aperture. Then I control Light and darkness by the exposure compensation dial. Have a good vacation.

I have always been a manual raw guy with auto iso but am trying to get myself to consider program more. I just hate losing that extra bit of processable data with raw. I will be taking a couple of power banks that I already have if the airlines will allow the lithium batteries these days. Will check with them when it comes closer to flight time.
Thanks
