Why do I have to “log in”

It seems that every time I click on the link to the current dated UHH, and start reading the posts, it does not allow me to comment unless I log in. This only started recently on my iPhone and my iPod. I never had to do this before so I must have had something changed during an upgrade to my operating system. Just a pain in the butt when I have to do this extra step. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

At the top of the page there's a Logout/Login box, I suspect your OS has cleared your password.

Apple updates are a pain, there’s always something off, slowed, missing, or something. They have us by the short & curlies, but I’d love to see some universality by Samsung or some one. Kick Apple in the arse, they might treat us with respect.

Most likely your browser is automatically clearing cookies. That's what logs you out. The setting should be somewhere in the browser's privacy settings.

Happens to me once in awhile. Not very often so it’s not a big deal.

You could have accidently selected "Private" window. It does not save any info (cookies, login info, etc) and makes you sign in every visit. Great for surfing the web but no so much for visiting frequently used sites.

Samsung apends their own UI to Android...

Thank, I think that is the answer. I will look into it.

Yes, you always had to log-in to make a comment before. You just didn't know you were doing it. It keeps casual shoppers from cluttering up the aisles. And woe that you have to spend that extra 2 seconds.

👍 I forget to reset after private at least once a week. Once back to normal UHH loads fine again.

I just stay logged on, and get on through my browser without a problem.

When logging in, I check "Stay Logged In", or whatever is offered of that ilk. Used when you are the only user of the computer/tablet, phone.

Same here. Apples did an update and turned your private browsing mode on. You can turn it off in settings.
YouTube can help you with that.
