Curious as to why you didn’t crop just to left of 605 and to right of the window? To me the image is about the women, especially their facial expressions. But then, I just don’t get street photography.

I like the composition, Voss. Adds to the sense of place . . .

What you suggest would be a viable crop and would put more emphasis on the women. When I set that up, I liked the run-down atmosphere of their surroundings, and wanted to emphasize that, so I included more of it. Street photography shows the relationship of people to their environment. So the photographer can play between the two elements and decide which, if either, he prefers to emphasize. The final result just depends on how the photographer feels about it at that time. Hope this helps.

Looks like mother and daughter…love the broken screen in the security door and the painter over tags on the building. Another nice en’…you own the street Voss

Nice capture, Voss. No need to post the color version. This looks great in black and white!

Please don't crop anything. It's absolutely perfect right now.

A nice capture Voss and I have nothing against its visual design. Your images usually have lots of contrast but this one in my humble opinion is perfect in that respect.
I believe both women should consider losing some weight but that is only my personal opinion.
