You are all making fun of people you don't even know, doing their own thing and dressing comfortably for them. What do you WANT them to look like?

no, not making fun, I think you are missing the point, maybe you've heard the term, "photo bombed" which is exactly what they did to me when they walked right in front of me even as I was setting up to take a shot. They didn't seem to care about me, and what I was doing...in some circles you might call that rude! You might take note of the title, "I was nuked" as in bombed! By the way, is making fun of the people you DO Know any better?

yeah, definitely colorful, and more than what I wanted when they walk right in front of my shot, or planned shot. Thanks Dodie!

Oh! I thought you were "nuked" by the intense color vs the cloudy day.

haha, no, just photo bombed when with a camera smack up against my face they walked right in front of me. But, I like your interpretation of it Dodie, and I can see how you could see it that way. :)

Well you did great using the shot for fun.

One of the moments I am in retrospect, less proud of, I was taking a shot on a hiking trail in Yosemite. My friend was standing by the edge of an opening with a mountain the background. A woman walked right into the frame as I snapped the shot. I really do think she did it on purpose. So we a while later, I came across her taking a shot. She's a photographer?!!? I thought "turn-about is fair play". But in retrospect I should have taken the high road and paused. Shame on me for that childish action. We can learn from our mistakes.

thanks JD, believe me, I'm a real stickler for courtesy of others, and manners in general. But, and it's a big but, sometimes I think my (our) manners are ignored, or expected, or we've just become invisible! I will always hold a door when someone is coming in behind me, and after doing that the thing that really pisses me off when someone walks right by you, as if you're invisible, and nary a thanks, or thank you, or even a head nod of acknowledgement. I do a lot of event shooting, and some street shooting, it amazes me how people will walk right in front of you when it's obvious you're trying to grab a shot.

Don’t feel too bad about being rude to a rude person. In farm country the saying would go, “Her chickens came home to roost”.
