In this part of California, the rain came to a stop for a day. This road is on the way to town.

Just think if it had been in Buffalo, NY, the city would be buried in an 8 ft. snow!

California needs water.
Why all at once?
Stay safe.

Sometimes getting what you asked for is not very pleasant.

Don't you wish you had bought that surplus Marine Amtrac now? Just go around the sign and keep going. Since it can haul a squad and their gear, you could make cash by taking orders for groceries etc. from folks cut off from town and start your own delivery service. Call it GLUB GRUB.

It isn't all at once. The next delivery is arriving in Northern California today and will be down to So Cal where I am this weekend.

The long range forecast people couldn't decide if CA would get "El Nino"(wet), Neutral or "La Nina"(dry).
It looks like El Nino wins and his sister will take a break from the drought she brought the last few years.

Have had situations like that back when I lived in Louisiana. A hard rain would put 2' - 3' of water over some roads in a heartbeat. Stay safe my friend.

That's the way it is in Panama City FL since Hurricane Michael. All at once with "Almost" no trees to absorb what falls. When it rains around here, it is torrential and you can't see to drive. Yuk. But it absorbs sorta quickly. And, people don't have a clue and drive to drive thru what you show here, unless a cop is stationed on the low streets to prevent people from drowning in their cars.
