I just downloaded the 14 day trial version of this today. Have not had a chance to try it yet.
Anyone here have it yet? If so what do you think of it?

Thanks, will

I have ON1 Photo Raw 2023 as well as several other post processing programs. Like every post processing program there are pros and cons. However, it is probably best to use it yourself first before asking others in order to avoid the introduction of positive and negative biases that may unconsciously affect your own opinion and purchase decision. Play with it a lot during the trial and if you are still interested and want to compare my experiences with your own findings before purchasing, feel free to send me a private message.

I use it almost every day. I really like it but it is "buggy" on my HP laptop and crashes more than I'd like. On1 is very good about free updates for paid customers though so I expect it will get better as the year goes on. I really like the denoise and sharpening aspects.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, Mark. I will PM you after I try it before I decide to purchase it.

Thanks for sharing your experience with it. I'll see how it does on my HP laptop.

I wanted to try it out and tried to download the trial copy. However, it appears to be more than my Lenovo Laptop can handle and would not run. Apparently, it is pretty picky about the version and capabilities of the graphics cards in your computer. As my Lenovo is several years old, the graphics card just did not have the horsepower or upgrade capabilities to run it.

I will have to stick to PS Elements 2020 for now until I upgrade at some time in the future.

I use ON1 currently, and it like it. My problem is I don’t have the time to edit my images to the extent that the videos do. Next year I’m going to search for a simpler solution.

I’ve been using it for years and even though I teach Photoshop and Lightroom classes it is my go to app for both Data Asset Management and post processing. I’m on a M1 Mac Mini and have had no significant issues with 2023. That said no app does everything so about 5% of my work is done in Photoshop. On1 allows me to push a copy out to Photoshop , do the work and come back. It also supports Photoshop plugins so I can go to Topaz Studio 2 for artistic processing and it comes back as a layer. And since you can buy it or rent it like Adobe it fits both models.

The fact that it is all in one and you don't need to do a separate download of photos into the program makes it better than Adobe. I do not understand why Photoshop and Light room and Raw are separate programs. You can still transfer to and from Adobe from Lightroom if you want. Have had for 4 years and don't look back. Lots of videos on every aspect of the process

I'm currently running 2023 ON1 PR on an older 16gb Dell XPS8700 with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GPU with 4gb mem. And.... ON1 runs "okay" but sometimes a little choppy and since I'm borderline GPU wise, raw images don't load into the edit module very fast. Since ON1 tends to use increased system resources from year to year, if I don't replace my desktop, it'll probably be the last year I upgrade. I only say this because your system resources HAVE to meet ON1 minimum technical requirements. The closer you are to their recommendations, the better it will run. Aside from that, I'm fairly satisfied but I'm not a "heavy" editor of my images. I mainly shoot raw with a few Canon P&S compacts and a R5. While you're in the trial period, beat the software up and make it work. Assuming you have a supported GPU, go into your settings and make the ON1 webpage recommended changes, which assign most of the processing to the GPU rather than your computers main processor.

I use it a lot - there are some adjustments - keep it on the mild side, and I think you will be pleased

ON 1 Photo Raw 2023 has been my worst ON1 experience over the past several years. It's so slow, it sometimes becomes unusable. Based on numerous emails (because phone support appears to be unavailable), there is a conflict with NVIDIA video drivers (used by Dell). I have taken all of ON1's advice re: driver updates, but they do not appear to have addressed the problem. It just goes on, and on, and on...

Most of my few problems are due to Da moments for me. I do not find it slow. If there is a area that I don't like it is the AI masking but that may be because I haven't used it enough.

I am thinking that there appear to be many on this board that have older computers with inadequate memory or outdated video cards if you are having trouble running ON1 2023. This is a powerful, versatile software but like other powerful software requires updated computers. I have had no problems/slowness with ON1 over the years and find it very satisfying and capable - but I have been upgrading my mac about every 4+ years to keep up with demands.
