Judy,
Glad that you have found homes for them. They sure have grown fast!
Folks, I've been searching for this group of pictures since the beginning of the challenge. Finally. The picture of the squirrel in the birdfeeder was what I was looking for.
We've had gray squirrels in our yard ever since I can remember (40+ years) but these returned after being gone for at least that long.

Sure are cute but they aren't very intimidated easily from coming to the bird feeder.

This was the moment I realized coming close or making a fare amount of noise didn't do much good. "What you want? "You want me to leave? I don't think so."

When I got him away from the bird feeder and up a nearby tree, he still wanted to challenge me. "You talker to me? Tough."

Karin,
As so many have mentioned, this was a great challenge. The overall enjoyment that UHHers have expressed makes me believe that humans and animals/all the 'critters' in this world have an unspoken and very special connection. Obviously, pets are like family but we also gravitate toward other creatures as well.

OK, so technically, it's no longer Saturday in my time zone,
but I still have a ton of "Critter Encounters."
