Don’t you think it would be wise (and helpful) for someone asking for assistance to provide pertinent information along with the request?

It would be for most of us. As a member for over 10 years who has had problems in the past, I think he is someone that needs a bit of extra help.

My first computer was a little thing that plugged into a TV. Programs were plugged into the side. I forget the brand. My big step up was a Commodore 64. I've had more than a few units since then, a couple I built from scratch. I taught basics in 10 week sessions, volunteering at a local library.

No surprise, I still stump myself more than I would care to admit. So, I can understand that people who have no prior knowledge may not really know what information to provide.

Just sayin'

No, I'm not going to search prior posts to see what someone MAY be talking about......

Well, I thought we were here to help when we can. It took me less time to see he has only started 7 threads in 10 years, than it took you to tell everyone you you're too busy to help. Go figure.

Don't put words in my mouth.
I never said I was too busy I simply said I wasn't going to do it

Jump to erroneous conclusions much?
Go figure.......

There’s a little switch on memory cards. Make sure it’s not in the lock position. It prevents files from being deleted.

Sorry, but I had to wonder which "camera car" you might have,
and if you meant "car camera" of some sort . . . .

Yeah, I was waiting to see pictures of a car set up for photography.

For those who didn't get past the title!

OP stated, I have and I’ve tried multiple cards

From prior post: Canon Mark four

Well we shouldn’t have to look for prior posts to see what camera and “Canon Mark four” is pretty meaningless.

The point is we shouldn’t have to look. And even then you actually have no clue except that it’s a Canon. “Mark four” is NOT a model.

And you STILL don’t know what he’s asking about! What is the camera model? What type of card is it? What brand of card and capacity? All pertinent info that you still don’t know after searching.

Nah.
That would deprive some of going back to the op's history and sleuthing around.
Good detective work takes time.

As a first step, I would see if the card type is ok for use in your particular camera, no matter what type. Check you camera specifications compared to the card's.
