Does anybody know to slideshow a folder of pics using Win 11 file manager? I’ve turned this thing more ways than a monkey can roll a coconut and still can’t figure it out. TIA
One of my major complaints on Windows 11...Can't imagine why they removed the slideshows or at least hid them.

Thanks Mark, I’ll check these out…I’ve been down a few uTube rabbit holes on this already but maybe one of these will work.

What I've been using for the past couple years or so. Love it

My pleasure. If you happen to have a copy of Picasa, it has a slide show option. If you'd like to install it, send me a PM with your email address. I'll send you a download (malware free) from my Dropbox.
Mark
Any video editor makes slideshows and gives you a lot of control with titles, transitions and the addition of background music.
Microsoft's current, included with Windows 11, video editor is called ClipChamp.
Google search for "clipchamp slideshow". You will have plenty to read!

Can't help with Win 11 ... but Faststone Image Viewer will create slideshows .
Thank you for sharing this. I have an older version of Faststone (and love it!) but didn't know of the slideshow feature. I'm now up to date and will play around with the FS slideshow feature!

Thanks everyone for your advice
I am surprised MS Photos won't run a slideshow. Disappointing.
Good morning. I found this text online:
"Once you're inside the main menu of the Photos app, click on Collection tab from the ribbon bar at the top. With the Colection tab selected, click on the three-dot (action icon) in the top-right corner of the screen. From the context menu that just appeared, click on SlideShow."
