Caught this hunter making a mess today.

I'm guessing this guy is young because it was not very big. Unfortunately he feeds at our bird feeder, at least today he didn't get one of our desired birds. I shot this through the kitchen window with a Nikon D5100 and 600mm lens on automatic. I have messed with settings and such but just shoot for fun and usually shoot on auto.

Nice shots. I prefer to see them eating mice, though. Let me re-word that. I prefer that they kill mice, rather than birds. : )

I agree, they're very nice shots. Another option might be a juvenile Sharp-shinned hawk. The juveniles are very hard to tell apart, but among the several differences, the sharp-shinned has white eyebrows while the Cooper's usually don't.
