Swans at Hallstättersee

This is an old photo, from almost exactly 10 years ago. I was framing a shot at lake level at Hallstatt when the swans started to fly. Sheer serendipity. I shot it in color, of course, but have always preferred it in B&W.

The (flying) Swans add a little the image but it is great anyway. Beautiful in B&W, love the tonal range. Perfect exposure!

Great "planning", you not only had perfect DOF/Exposure you also had a high enough shutter speed to freeze the swans.
Just a little teasing, because the scene is Beautiful and Very Well captured.
