Santa always came through. But actually that was a rough Christmas, my Dad had died in August and we were living with my Aunt and Uncle in Evansville. Luckily dad was in the Army and Mom was able to afford a nice house with his benefits, met my stepdad who treated me like his son. Mom says I told her I wanted a new Daddy and I guess Santa did deliver cause by the next Christmas I had one.
