One more of our little angel, waiting for Santa. Trying something new with this shot. I saw that Bay Photo Labs prints on ceramic tiles, so I ordered 2 on 6x6 tiles. Thought it would be a nice keepsake. Anyone else ever try this? Be curious to see how it came out. Funny how the colors look more natural as edited when you click download, wonder why??

Nice shot.

Is the color space sRGB or Adobe RGB.
That will make a difference.

I work in sRGB, typically, it's what the labs want, thanks.

Any difference then must be in the thumbnail reduction.

yeah, I suppose. It's always frustrating when "what you see, ain't what you get." Not too bad when viewing digitally, but when your print comes back looking like crap that's another story. And, I just had it happen with a bunch of these photos of my granddaughter sent off to Costco, about 100 or so from the session for 4x6 prints, and two 5x7's on their photo plaques. I work on a pretty excellent Dell monitor that is calibrated, and the prints came back looking true to form. But, geez, the plaques were absolutely awful! Bad skin tones, too much cyan, and overexposed..the poor baby looked sickly! We've ordered these before, and they're usually very nice, but not this time. And, of course, they were gifts for Christmas that now will not be given! They're being redone as we speak, but I've lost a bit of confidence on what to expect. Obviously, being that the 4x6 prints came out ok, Costco must use a different source for the plaques.
