The Brooklyn Botanical Garden puts on a fantastic train display every November. All the scenery is made of plant products in one of the southern states. I forget which one. The buildings are models of actual NYC buildings. If you're within driving distance, it's definitely worth a visit.
An afternoon weekend in December is the best time to go - if you like crowds. Otherwise, early on a weekday is good, especially in November.
2006 - FujiFilm S7000
2007 - FujiFilm S9100
2008 - Canon SD800 IS
2009 - Nikon D90 - Penn Station, new that year.
You might have noticed two different FujiFilm cameras in 2006 and 2007. Funny story. We drove home from Florida in 2007, and I couldn't find my Fuji S7000. I figured I must have left it in the motel at our last stop. Nope! After looking and looking, I bought the S9100. A couple of weeks later, I found the S7000 under the seat of the car. Oh, well. I had a new camera, and I sold someone else a nice, slightly used S7000. Those were great cameras with superzoom.
EDIT: I just checked. I paid $223 for the S7000, and I sold it on eBay for $200. Not bad. I could buy one now for $20.
Very nice - loved the last one especially!

Very good set, Jerry.
Thanks. I don't think they were processed because they're still "DCS..." Yeah, and they're 12.5MP. Definitely not processed.
Nice shots, Jerry. BTW, Merry Christmas!
