A couple of quick thoughts. If you are having a hard time finding carts/etc now it will probably get worse as the printer gets older. I have used Precision Color for a long time with my Epson printers. I like it -- quality seems to be as good as when I used Epson ink. You will gain a long time supply of ink because you will have the carts and almost any Epson ink will work. The drawback is you will have to fill the carts with their ink. Once you get used to having two or three sets of carts and how to refill its much less expensive and not that difficult. You tube "JToolman" will show you how to do it. Quality is great. Cost is about as low as it gets. Recommend two or three sets of carts. Number them and then you always have a spare set ready. I usually change the whole set when one cart is low. Save it up until the second one is done and refill all three at one time. No reason to retire this printer if you like it and its results. I'm still using my 100.

Just looked at Precision Color web site and they have the prefilled refillable cartridges and the bulk ink for this printer. They are my source for ink for my Epson P600 and is a good place to get your ink.

I'm not very handy when it comes to this sort of thing, but it may be my only option. Thanks.

The biggest problem with refilling yourself is a potential mess
Wear gloves, clean work space and take your time

Does anyone know of a source for ink for the Epson Stylus Photo 2200 printer? I know that it's really old technology, but I don't do that much printing and when I do the result from this old beast is excellent. I've searched and cannot find a reliable source.

I had that Wonderful printer until the heads clogged Permanently! I always bought Genuine Epson 2200 ink on eBay. Some of the cartridges were from 2006 but printed Beautifully! I highly recommend running a nozzle check and head cleaning regularly but that uses ink. Good Luck
