Does anyone know where I can find some good information about infrared processing? What software is best?

I'm not seeing that there are any special requirements for s/w to process IR as compared to normal photos.

Capture-1 and On-1 can achieve the WB below 2000k. Use channel mixer in PS and swap the red and blur channels.
Hope this helps.

"...information about infrared processing?"

On a commercial assignments where I've deployed KODAK EKTACHROME Professional Infrared EIR Film I've relied on Kodak and here is their Technical Data on the aforementioned.
https://125px.com/docs/film/kodak/ti2323-Ektachrome_EIR.pdf

In this scenario the Infrared EIR Film was chosen to clearly delineate the amount of structural stress on Historical Stone Bridges in Washington County Maryland. This was during a major hurricane event and I was to provide imagery to the Washington County Engineer. Note: Vegetation renders in red, while water renders in blue thus this contrast clearly shows the extent of flood waters.

Here I was sitting in the right side of the helicopter and while typically the pilot in command often does sit on the right on a helicopter in this incident I was shooting thru and open windscreen thus the right side offered the best vantage of the damage below. btw, the noise was horrific, and we were buffeted around by ground turbulence. Not my favorite assignment.

I was shooting a Nikon F3 with a 50mm f/1.4 Nikkor. The resulting imagery was used by both the Washington Engineer and Planning Departments.

Hope this helps lobsta or is at least food for thought.
Wishing you much joy over this Holiday Season with family and friends.

Consider going to web pages of ir camera modifying companies. (Assuming you are going to use an ir modified digital camera).
Life Pixel, Kolarivision and whoever else you can find.
I use PSE 19 with E+. This will do the red blue swap Art mentions, of course also as Art mentions PSCC is kinda the Big Boy for PP.

Good luck, it is a lot of fun!

Edit: there is also a software co. FlamingPear I have seen mentioned but I have no experience with it.

Lifepixel, one of the companies doing infrared camera conversion, has a website with a lot of info on shooting IR. I do my IR processing with Photoshop, which does everything I need. I do color IR, and one IR processing technique I do is the red/blue channel swap, which results in blue skies, which I think brings a little realism to the surreal IR colors. To do that you need a program which allows you to manipulate color channels. Here are some samples of my IR work.

Your question could use more definition. Do you have a converted camera or want to make looks-like IR photos.

If you have an IR camera with deep IR filter excluding visable then Topaz B&W-2 will give you great tools for changing contrast and presentation as other than BW.

If you have a 520 nm filter the sky may be red and the trees blue ... you can suffer with channel swapping using such as PS or make life simple with a quick click swap. In Flamingpear archives you can download easy channel swapping.

As JohnSwanda has shown... full spectra conversions provide a mystical world. I suggest looking at the informative charts/photographs at Kolarivision.

Look at the company’s sites that convert cameras such as Lifepixel.com and Kolarivision.com

What type of software are you looking for, I see from your previous post you were having trouble using Photoshop.
Apparently you are still having problems.
You did not supply information on your camera and the type of conversion, nor edited & unedited images so we can help you.
Are you looking for something that will process your images automaticly ?
