"The former Speaker of the House says that while he opposes Biden’s policies, he can’t deny the accomplishments of the president’s party in the 2022 midterms.
That’s the word from prominent Republican Newt Gingrich. In a commentary posted on his Gingich 360 website, the former House of Representatives speaker said that while he doesn’t approve of the job that President Biden is doing and that he “deeply” opposes his policies, the conservative hostility to the Biden administration has blinded “us to just how effective Biden has been on his terms.”
Gingrich added, “We dislike Biden so much, we pettily focus on his speaking difficulties, sometimes strange behavior, clear lapses of memory, and other personal flaws.” But in the end, Gingrich said, Biden’s record speaks for itself: “The Biden team had one of the best first term off-year elections in history. They were not repudiated.”
Gingrich also compared Biden to two former presidents — Ronald Reagan and Dwight Eisenhower — noting how they were similarly underestimated.
“Both wanted people to think of them as pleasant — but not dangerous. They found being underestimated was a major asset. While people laughed at them, they were busy achieving their goals and getting their programs implemented,” Gingrich said. “Biden has achieved something similar.”

That's why you should pay attention to Conservative thinkers. They have good unbiased insights and tell the truth the way it is. Not bullshit lying and propaganda like Biden and the Democrats. And No, I didn't contradict myself.
The Democrats wrote the book on partisan politics. You guys own that. Many Republicans will break from their party for what they see as the good of the country. But not one Democrat will.

Historians are pegging it to Gingrich.
Biden is doing a wonderful job securing the southern border. According to Mayorkas everything is under control. Biden has not been there and could not care less about the border agents.

Biden can thank Mitch, I hope that we soon say goodbye to both of them.

Maybe they will not change in the future but they did in the past. In the 1960's the "southern democrats" were defiant against the civil right package in the Congress. They held fast in their determination to stop it. Several (Strom Thurman was the most important) democrats saw the hand writing on the wall and deserted their party's philosophy. Thurman joined the republican party and remained a republican til his death. Politics breeds strange bed-fellows. Democrats do not have a monopoly on political stupidiy. Their party has contributed some great leaders. In today's political arena we have a noticeable void in talent and leadership. That arena is decimated by "professional politicians" and we find no leaders. Personnal agendas have become national policies, and that is not good for America. As a leader Gingrich was considered "radical' and despised by the "loyal opposition." Today, he is considered quite moderate! Guppies supposedly have a 3 second retention span. That beats humans by 2 seconds!

Wrong again... no surprise.
"The story of how Newt Gingrich and his allies tainted American politics, launching an enduring era of brutal partisan warfare".But I am sure that a scholar such as yourself will mount a stunning rebuttal of this professor in the Department of History at Princeton.
