I shot this with my Fuji Fine Pix HS 20... I am a total greenhorn at doing anything to touch up photos in any program....any suggestions for a good program for a Beginner would be appreciated, thanks

Really nice! Very relaxing to look at and has a nice deep quality/feel to it.

No post processing at all and I realize more than ever that is the key to finalizing a lot of my pics. Lots to do any suggestions on a good photo editing program for a Newbie....thanks

There are many programs that could be used but my favorite is Topaz's plug-in Adjust 5. With their photoFXLab, a standalone. Most adjustments can be made by clicking on a visual reference..they can be fine tuned as well. For a more robust all-around program, combined with Corel's Paint Shop Pro...probably all you'd ever need with the least expense. Gimp is a free program but I feel it has a more difficult learning curve.

It looks to me like you don't need a processing program. That's a beautiful photo. Let me ask the obvious question; how did you do it? If you don't want to share, I fully understand.
You might be a newby to this forum but you certainly not to photography. Great shot.
Post programming has been hashed and rehashed there was just a five page discussion on it. Go to the top of the page, in the blue print you will find "SEARCH' click on it and in the window type something like post processing or something like that. You will get all the discussion on that subject.
Good luck

Hi Tramsey....I loved the shot and actually had spent about an hour trying to capture some fall foliage and then the wind picked up out of no where and I realized that it was playing a nice game with the underwater fallen leaves. I shot facing them and also off on angles but this one was shot from pretty much straight overhead at about a three foot distance from the leaves ...Zoomed in a bit....and Voila the sun, breeze, leaves and wind combination dropped this one right in front of me. I have about 30 shots but none even came close to what this one picked up...Thanks so very much for the compliments and taking the time to view my post.I will be checking out the search area...both to do with my Fuji Finepix HS 20 camera and PP as well. Thanks again from Dancepartner

Your photo is pretty enough not to need anything at all done with it, but Photo Shop Elements is an excellent program. Lovely shot.
