After many hours of rehashing past episodes, they will finally present a new episode tonight. I won't be home to watch it, but I never watch live TV, anyway. Will they find the treasure tonight? Will they? Will they?

Show is typical of ways to waste time on a tv show that goes nowhere fast. Soon, we’ll resume chasing Hitler across Argentina.

Of course not. That would blow the whole season. If they do find it, it will be in the final episode.

I have seen every episode of every season because this has bugged me ever since I read the article in Reader's Digest many years ago. But I have to tell you, if they don't solve the thing this year I am probably done with it. I am getting tired of being led down a garden path with no end in sight.

I watch most shows using FastForward.

I wonder if they'll catch Hitler this year. He's 133 years old now, so he can't run very fast.

With Billy the Kid and Elvis helping him he'll probably get away again.

In this case, there isn't even a path, let alone anything good at the end. I like seeing the old things that they discover.

Haha! I think you've nailed it. After all, if a sponsor picks these speculative docu-dramas up for another season, there's gotta be hope.

I think that show is the biggest waste of time of any. The treasure was thought to have been buried by Black Beard back how many hundred years? They used the newest scientific equipment and pin pointed the exact spot it SHOULD be and started digging. They ended up using a huge back hoe going down better than twenty feet and found nothing. Remember this treasure was buried some three hundred years ago by pirates, maybe with shovels but certainly not back hoes.

Oak Island is in Nova Scotia. I think the treasure is somewhere in North Carolina where his ship Queen Ann's Revenge was found

If you have read about this and followed the show for the last 9 years, you know SOMETHING is down there. Someone buried something there a long time ago. Blackbeard is only one of many theories. Stay tuned...

They will never find a treasure, that's how they keep you watching, if they found treasure the show would END!!!

Smart - However at some time in the future if you feel like watching, instead pull your chair up to a nice wall and watch the paint dry. It is about as exciting as this show.

Opinions are like a certain anatomical feature...everyone has one.

If you don't want to watch it, that's fine. Apparently there are enough who do to keep the ratings high enough to attract sponsors.

As for the show ending when they find whatever is down there, of course that's true, but shows (especially shows like this one) have a limited life anyway. This one has just about run its course so I wouldn't expect it to go on much longer in any event.

tramsey, you are entitled to your opinion and you are welcome to it. If they prove you wrong, as I expect they will, I will revisit this topic and hold it up there so you can get a good look at it. In the meantime if other people enjoy it and want to watch it, please let them do so in peace.
