How the GOP Snatched a Defeat from the Jaws of Victory or: The country LOVES/Trusts Ol' Joe

This time I was not convinced by the polls.

Most informed Attic pundits predicted a RED WAVE. It was no doubt based on the data of most past elections, usually a good predictor. Let's face it, Joe's POPULARITY was in the low 40's, even many Dems were making contingency plans for after the RED TSUNAMI. The economy, immigration, etc. were considered to be the deciding factors that would contribute to Joe's demise, by conservative old men. They were wrong. This is where I insert: "I TOLD YOU SO!" Kansas showed that the sleeping giant wanted access to abortion. The key word is: ACCESS. Women voters flexed their muscles and showed men how one issue that affects them, daughters, friends, etc. would galvanize them into action. I'm not saying they all want abortions, just that they want the FREEDOM to choose, (YES, to terminate a fetus) but that was inconceivable (pun intended) to those that still held onto the cliché: "It's the ECONOMY stupid."
Not only did the RW/RT not arrive spectacularly, it was downgraded to a Pink Trickle, according to some. A long pattern of midterm results was abandoned. Some might claim it was flimsy maga candidates, lunacy, lack of a real agenda or even election fraud. Nope.
As usual, it was a woman's common ability to see through the dumbness of MEN. lol Men in their infinite "wisdom" chose to be paternalistic and the ladies said, NO!

I can hardly wait to see what happens now in preparation for the next election.

I hope we get to choose between a conservative democrat and a liberal republican; anyone except Biden or Trump. If forced to choose, I would pick Trump as the lesser or two evils

If Trump had his way your voting would be useless because he would just make phone calls asking people to "find" Eleven thousand votes or so and declare himself the winner.

The smug mugs in this place are still convinced women are too stupid to do anything but have kids.

This could be the perfect election. The anticipated red wave still would have required the signature of the President on any bills passed, except for those that only would have required a majority in the Senate. So, a split Congress may do two things: require more bi-partisanship and get rid of Trump for 2024.

Try that in front of a judge like the other 61 election deniers.

That argument has been put to the test by your own Ninjas. They, as well as many others have yet to find any voter fraud. Other than isolated and rare individual cases usually caused by stupid people, and we know which side has the majority of them. Any dummy can make an accusation, but I say "Where's the beef?"

You don't always get what you want, but if you try hard enough you get what you need. This was almost a perfect election for Republicans. Had they taken both Houses, in 2024 they would have been blamed for the debacle our country is in and for the coming recession. Now it's still going to be all Biden and the Democrat's mess. Enjoy.

Hopefully enough to put the brakes on Biden's further agenda and claw some of it back. Like Trump said last night. The country can't survive much more Democrat rule.
