I think his eyes look kind. It was fairly early morning and they had recently eaten and he was just looking at us like we were looking at him.

I love the color of the first one, maybe because it makes me think of my cats.

I had never noticed before that lions have round pupils, unlike domesticated cats. So thanks for posting this—I have learned something today. The day has not been wasted!
