A Few More Dragons From Last Weeks Texas Survey

Here are a few more dragons from the Texas survey from last week. Most dragonflies perch with their wings held perpendicular to their body. Here we have two genus that hold their wings down and forward when they perch - Dythemis and Micrathyria. Both are Neo-tropical skimmers. The first two are Black Setwings (Dythemis nigrescens) and the other is a female Thornbush Dasher (Micrathyria hagenii).
