The first doesn't look over-cooked on my monitor.

Add to that, the horizon line seems a bit off,

Interesting.
I kind of like the second one except for the swath of orange on the beach.
And is it just me or does anyone else see the dragon, the eye and the open mouth to the left above the distant mountain?
Horizon line needs to be adjusted but I like it.

Overcooked? The second, maybe a bit. What bothers me, though, is the non-level horizon line. That’s an easy fix right on the phone.

The first image doesn’t look like it’s overcooked at all. In fact, I would work it to add a little more definition. The second is definitely overdone. But while you are editing them, use the leveling feature to keep the water from draining out of the picture 😉
