The application of affirmative action in college admissions may offer the best antidote to the inadequate presence of black folk on the college campus. Yet, AA appears to rest on the assumption that black folk would qualify for admission except for active discrimination against their admission. Otherwise, we have the situation that black folk cannot meet the requirements of admission on their own and need the exception of AA to open the door to their admission.

This discussion brings in forced quotas of admission to counter this discrimination. Thus, one can argue we face the condition of quantity over quality.

By this means, we leave academia for the social realm with its measure of equal right supposing equality of outcome.

The process of higher education, however, involves a rigor of academic performance against standards to which all students must subject themselves. Of course, one may argue that white folk design these standards to disfavor black folk.

When a black student is accepted at a college over a white student based strictly on ethnicity how is that not discrimination? Why is discrimination and hate speech allowed only against whites? If black students must compete against white students on a level playing field perhaps it will entice the black students to vigorously apply themselves in high school.

How many years ago was the Affirmative Action initiative passed? There was a 25 year sunset provision to expire written into that act. Do the math.
