It really can't be all that bad, Kit. Right now, it's still the same as it was last week: same House, same Senate, same President and VP. So if was good enough then, it's good enough now. The Democrat Party obviously felt it was good enough last week, so we'll just roll along...same old, same old.
No Tears.

Billions of dollars spent and we're in the same place where we started. This is government in action. Or is it government inaction.

How come you capitalized Democrats but not Republicans? They are both proper nouns. Just wondering. Could it be your contempt and hatred for anyone who doesn't think like you do? Maybe you should move to California since the democrats have a super majority in the house and senate and the governor is a dem. There's no stopping them now to do whatever they want.

Just remember this will not happen but it could. The Republican party will make up lies and give away the farm just for the votes. Then don't do anything like Obummer did the first time and will figure out a new way to screw every one the second time . If we give out enough free stuff the democraps will even vote Republican

Obama bought the Hispanic vote by granting amnesty. He bought the gay vote by saying he was in favor of same sex marriage (even though there's nothing he can do about it). He bought the female vote by giving them contraceptives and abortions. He bought the black vote by being black.

Thanks Kit. You libs are great at giving things. It'll be interesting to see how long you "Democrats get a kick out of it" when the real results from last night set in. Take a look at the market....this is only the beginning.

The reason for the drop in the market is due to Romney pulling his money out and sending it to Caymen islands.

Photodog, excellent points one and all... thanks for making them. Although I'm afraid, except for me and perhaps a few others on this forum, they're falling on deaf ears.

All the talk in the world about what kind of a socialist obama is, apparently wouldn't have done any good. The entitlements put him back in.

Well I'm not crying about it I'm just damn angry at how blind the voters really are in this country. They remind me of the current generation of kids who are too lazy to open an owner's manual for that $1000 camera they just bought so they come crying on another forum I follow asking advice on how to turn it on.

May God be with us Photodog because the socialists are coming. And if you give enough entitlements to enough people, they will follow you regardless of their doubts, fears or any other questions they may have... they like frightened sheep will follow... off the cliff or into the abyss they'll be right behind you.

Jimmya,

I just read this post on AOL:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/08/mitt-romney-lost-election_n_2095013.html?ncid=webmail1

This scares me.

How could Romney be so out of touch? He absolutely kicked BO's A$$ in the debates and did almost nothing to follow up in the media. BO ran God knows how many adds about what a great job he was doing when Romney showed he clearly was not (inflated numbers to hide a crappy economy, high unemployment, etc). Yet, Romney ran very few adds to counter these arguments.

I sincerely believe that Romney is an honorable man. That said, it's time to take off the blinders. Did he & his staff really not take into account the unemployed, welfare sucklers and ILLEGALLY registered illegals that will re-elect the left to keep the free money coming in?

Another good point Photodog but given the fact that BO had four years in office to talk about, good and bad, MR did not. This is how it will be at the next cycle, both will have only ideas and obscure records to talk about.

That may be one of the reasons why incumbent presidents are re-elected 70% of the time. I don't believe MR is a bag guy, not at all. I do believe he, and his team, don't have the political savvy to run against a guy like BO who does.

At this point we have no idea what MR would or would not have been able to do in the Oval Office. The fact is the congress is still split. Taking that into account repealing Obama Care would probably not have happened anyway because the socialists want socialized medicine that they don't have to be part of. Could there have been a Republican majority in two years... could be but it's still a long shot.

I'm no political expert by any stretch but I do believe in the American way of life. I also believe that BO is trying to take us down a different path.
I also believe, as I wrote before, if you offer enough entitlements, like sheep, those receiving them will follow you... off the cliff or into the abyss.

Thought I'd bump an old thread from 4 years ago for a trip down memory lane for those righties gloating their asses off in 2016 and falling all over each other to smugly bash the "liberal cry babies" who forgot how they were whining big time back in 2012.
