Designers like Robert Lowey and Brook Stevens were able to make functionality beautiful. The Soviets made apartment buildings that were sturdy, functional and ugly. Frank Lloyd Wright made beautiful houses that fell down. Combining beauty and function without sacrificing either is a true art.

Remember where the fuel fill neck was on the 55 & 56 Chevy? I heared a story were some kids stole a 56, ran it out of gass and left it because they couldn't figure out how to refuel it.
