Biden is the winner of the laughing stock of every international leader. When faux Dr. Jill has to chase him down and bring him back to where he’s supposed to be. When he gives a speech and then wanders around on the stage trying to figure out how he got there in the first place? John, you’re so obsessed with Trump that your hatred of him has blinded you to the woes Biden has created. I think little Trudeau is turning your country into a shit hole too. He’s making himself king and expects his servants to kneel before him.

There are none so blind as those who will not open their eyes... and you, my friend, fail to see the truth about DJT.

I agree that Biden is not a shining star, and perhaps age is getting to him. He does sometimes appear to be confused, but I think that is often selective editing of videos; y'know... that thing Dems get accused of doing with snippets of Trump's foibles.

But if you were being totally honest with yourself you could not possibly have any respect for a creature like Trump. Yes, I am obsessed with him because he is a disgusting human being. He has not been in the news as much lately as he was during his presidency and shortly thereafter, which makes "reality TV" (ie, news) a bit boring lately. Heck, all we are now seeing is much longer news coverage of Ukraine, mass shootings, etc.

I really miss the exciting stuff, and maybe it will come back again after the midterms when he announces his third run at the POTUS title. It will be exciting times... but God Help America if he wins again! Get real... the guy is the biggest con artist of modern times. He has Republican congress folks wrapped around his "finger" (or other member) with threats rather than respect and support. He is in the business of Make Trump Great and nothing else. He praised the likes of Flynn, Manafort, Stone, Bannon, Barr, McConnel, Pence, etc until they stopped kneeling in front of him; then he tossed them to the dogs like scraps. Yes, he may have done the odd little "good" thing in eyes of a few of his loyal followers, but if you stand back and look at the big picture honestly you would have to conclude that he is not -- and was never -- fit to be president.

But I suspect his base and his loyalists will continue to advance their personal goals with complete disregard of what is good for America as a nation as it tries to regain its status in the world. Good luck with it all.

This screed ends with "VDH" -- evidently as its author, Victor David Hanson, the public scholar.

Whatever, it contributes to the soiled politics of our time. Now, political hatred and revenge politics define the activity of political elites. The impetus of this angry view arises from the seeking of power, money, and control to advance party interests.

Good government for its own sake, as a calling, has become submerged in favor of national division. The participation in this split includes the news media workers who foster and further the clash of political dialog instead of doing straight reporting of newsworthy matters.

In our era, a citizen must do his darnedest to uncover controlling facts and information to shape a moderate political understanding.

Will a Republican Senate simply refuse to confirm Biden’s ultra-left appointments and judges, on the theory they will inevitably do the damage of a Merrick Garland or Alejandro Mayorkas or prove sanctimonious nincompoops like a Pete Buttigieg or Xavier Becerra?

Will Joe Biden, who all summer long blasted the filibuster as a racist relic, flip in 2023 and claim it is the bastion of the republic when the Democrats are in the senate minority?

Will Democrats object if the Republican House becomes impeachment-hungry, following the 2019-2021 precedent?

Is the rule now established that an unpopular president should face first-term impeachment when he loses the House?
Or is the new legacy automatic impeachment when a president clearly warps the national interest to further his own political viability—such as ruining relations with Saudi Arabia while draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in a last-ditch effort to avoid a midterm wipeout?

Will they adopt the January 6 committee protocols?
Following the precedents of Nancy Pelosi will they run simultaneous congressional investigations of :

1) politicized leadership at the wayward FBI and Department of Justice;

2) the labyrinth of conflicts of interest within our federal health bureaucracy, starting with National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci;

3) the tax liabilities, false statements, and sources of income of the Biden family;

4) “insurrections,” starting with the role of social media, Antifa, and Black Lives Matter during the 120 days in 2020 of uninterrupted rioting, looting, and arson.

• Undertake a real probe of the entire January 6 riot and its aftermath, using newly inherited operating procedures to subpoena high-ranking bureaucrats, left-wing pundits, Democratic National Committee operatives, and elected officials to discover:

1) why the breakdown in Capitol Hill police security;

2) why the suppression of information about the officer killing of Ashli Babbitt, and the death from natural causes of Officer Brian Sicknick;

3) why all videos, emails, and communications concerning the riot have not been released;

4) what was the role, if any, of FBI informants;

5) why were dozens of the accused held without bail, without charges filed, and subject to nonstop jail harassment?

The Democrats started it now let's finish it.
