Over the last few years, since I began photographing through my office window, on very rare occasions, I hawk would suddenly land and then fly off so quickly, that I didn't even have time to think about reaching for my camera. Well, Monday, he came twice, and both times, posed and strutted, puffed himself up, before finally flying away for good, leaving nothing behind but these photographs (and about 30 more).

Really nice series of captures of this beautiful Hawk. It's not often that you can catch one in all these poses.

as far as the quality of the photos, all I could do is repeat what's already (and very deservedly said), so primarily I want to just add that I am very envious of the view outside your office window.

Mine is a parking lot...

Thank you Fred. I have a little lawn and a row of scrub trees and other plants that separate my office from the parking lot next door. Makes a nice background for the photographs.
