RodeoMan, as you probably know, most of my work is black and white. However, I'm planning on using this technique should I find a color photograph is the best presentation. I tend to like the look.

Bob, this is a great image. It brings to my mind memories of images posted here by "Blacks" whom I fear may be gone from us. I would love to see more from you using this process.
A beautiful product....very nice work.
Really nice shot. Love the sharpness!! I hate soft/out of focus images. Especially mine. I would rather have sharp bad shot than a out of focus good one. Hope that makes sense.
That’s a beauty, Bob. Great colors--the blue is interesting.
Thank you all for taking a look and commenting. I appreciate it greatly.

Again a bit late to the forum. First this is a beautiful picture. I'm not sure I follow your process but it works.
The color is great, but what strikes me is the the depth of field you have achieved overall; but the separation of the mountain and sky is superb. Rarely does one notice, if I can express it clearly, where the definition of subject and sky is noticeable in depth. This I believe is what has been missing from digital that seemed so natural in film/ transparencies.
Not familiar with your process but look forward to more of it.
Thank you, mindzye. I try to maximize my depth of field with any landscape photograph I make. However, that has little to do with the attempt to emulate the Dye Transfer Process. The color is what is most affected by that process.
