Nice photos of that great car!!

My dad had a 1961 Catatlina when I was growing up; 4 door, 3 on the tree, no seat belts, no radio, no air conditioning. I think it was 1970 that he traded it in for a 66 Pontiac LeMans which later became my car. Oh, the memories....sigh!

Kim, another great capture. My second car was a 1962 Burgundy Catalina Hardtop Coupe. Bought it from a neighbor about 1966. Very good car for its time. The back seat was very large. All my buddys wanted me to take this car when we went to the drive-in movies.

Didn’t know you could use a tree as a stick shift? I had a ‘60 Catalina with a stick shift. Must have been an upgrade in ‘61.

LOL!!! I'm sure you know that means the shift lever was on the steering column.
