What cloud storage do you use and/or recommend?
I use 2. Amazon Photo comes with Prime. Carbonite covers all files.
Thanks. I already have a basic Adobe Creative Cloud account (for Photoshop) but I've not used their cloud storage.
I've been using Carbonite for years now. One PC, unlimited.
It's all automatic and new files are backed up fairly quickly. Plus, you can tag a file to be backed up as soon as possible. I like that it color dot marks the files in Windows Explorer to let me know if they are backed up.
Don't ONLY backup your photos! I added other directories to the list, like documents, spreadsheets, etc..
Anything I don't care to loose.
(Of course I do local backups also.)

The Adobe cloud account is not meant for back up! It is for work in progress, to be able to work from multiple locations.
For back up you want a program that will duplicate (clone) your file structure to the cloud (and to local external drives) and copy changes as made. That will be Carbonite for the cloud, $50 for the first year, and I use syncbackfree for local, free and great program.

Cloudways for saleable photos, and my/your computer hard drives/SSTs for every thing else.

Backups are for any thing you don't want to loose, including cloudways. Family? Vacation? Saleable?

ANYTHING, including documents, ...
Cloud backup covers you if something happens to your house - flood, fire, earthquake, ....
Disaster recovery if all the local backups are destroyed or compromised.

Why do you think you need any cloud storage, even 1-byte's worth? Are you sharing images / files between multiple work areas, such as home and on the road? How often? How many files, what file format(s)?
Are you looking for backup / disaster-recovery capabilities? These are rather 'cadilac' solutions, both file sharing and back-up storage, where USB-connected portable drives are much more cost-effective.

Amazon S3, Google, Microsoft and Apple ICloud (in that order). As to why a MAJOR cloud provider is the most reliable/available disaster recovery or archive data storage you can deploy, that has been discussed and argued so many times on this forum that it doesn’t need repeating.

The op said he used Amazon Photos not Adobe.
I personally am not a fan of the cloud. I would rather have control of my own data and or backups.
On-site and off-site (garage or shed etc) storage on SSD drives.
I would never use cloud storage for storage, but I do use it to display pictures for others. I have multiple backups at home, and if my house burns down, pictures of trees and cars will be the least of my worries. I enjoy taking pictures and processing them and possibly sharing them. They're not a long-term investment, especially if that involves a monthly payment.
